Students desiring to major in Special Education P-4 or Special Education 4-12 must be aware of changes in the Arkansas teacher licensure requirements which will affect these programs. Effective Fall 2015 the special education programs described will be discontinued due to changes in Arkansas licensure standards. No one will be permitted to graduate with a degree in either Special Education P-4 or Special Education 4-12 programs after Fall 2017. If you are currently in a Special Education P-4 or Special Education 4-12 program, and do not have a degree plan and know your graduation date, please contact your advisor.
