Borland Bde Administrator 5.01
That done, what has most likely happened is you have some sort of malware/adware installed on your system, which is a very common problem. Some of these programs use the Borland BDE engine in the background. This is pretty common if you have installed some P2P software such as iMesh, Kazaa, or Grokster, or clicked yes to a popup saying 'Your PC is not optimized!'
Kaspersky antivirus personal 5.0.388. Depois de ficar realmente p*** da vida de tanto procurar na internet um instalador funcional do BDE 64BITS para WINDOWS 7 e 8 achei o link correto e depois de.
Or 'you have a virus! Click here to remove!' Or 'Do you want to install and run blahblahblah signed by blah blah?'
Bde Administrator Download
When it was not something you were expecting. Its easy enough to remove. Go to and download AdAware 6 Personal edition.
Install it, then run it and click the 'Check for updates now' link on the main page to download the latest reference file (click Connect, then OK). Then click Start, then Next. Put a check mark in all boxes it finds, and fix all problems. This should get rid of the BDE administrator. I already have lavasoft adware6 personal edition and when i run it the program does not find any spyware. I also use spybot search & destroy, pestpatrol, and norton internet security/norton antivirus pro 2004.
And when i scan my pc with any of the programs i do not get any message of a virus or spyware on my system. I have even called the borland company and asked how to remove the program/software or what ever it is and the spokes person told me that it is a part of windows98 and that it can not be removed. I know better than this because i have more than one pc running win98se. Ihave also searched the net and have not found any info on how to remove. I was hopeing i could get rid of it without haveing to reformat hard drive.
Thanks for any help and any other sugestions. OK.well it may be that its just the control panel sitting there. Does it work if you double-click it (giving you a window with various database formats, etc)? See here: That details how to remove it. Be aware however, the BDE Admininstrator may have been installed by another program you're using (and it might not even seem like it would need it; i.e.
Roxio EZCD Creator creates an Access database entry in the ODBC control panel for its playlist database from what I can tell). So if one of your other programs stops working, you'll know it relies on the BDE.
